We are beyond thrilled to announce Legendary Disco Icon Felipe Rose as our Guest of Honor for the Spirit of ’76 Expo!

Felipe Rose, former original member of Village People (1977–2017), became internationally recognized for his iconic Native American stage persona and his contributions to the legendary disco era.

During his remarkable career, Felipe was part of a musical phenomenon associated with worldwide hits including “Y.M.C.A.” and “Macho Man,” songs that remain instantly recognizable generations later.

Continuing his journey as a solo artist, Felipe has entertained audiences with music including “Back to My Roots" , “Dance Again", "Thats what you are" ,and “New York City Guy.”

We are honored to welcome Legendary Disco Icon Felipe Rose to the Spirit of ’76 Expo as our Guest of Honor and to celebrate his extraordinary place in disco and pop-culture history.

The Richie Scarlet Band: Brace yourselves for a masterclass in pure, unadulterated rock and roll as The Richie Scarlet Band takes the stage at the Spirit of 76 Expo. Known worldwide as "The Emperor of Rock and Roll," Richie Scarlet brings an overwhelming vitality and legendary pedigree to the expo, having toured and recorded alongside 70s icons like Ace Frehley and Peter Criss of KISS, Mountain, as well as members of the original Alice Cooper group and Blue Oyster Cult. Backed by his dynamic solo band, Scarlet is set to command the stage with his signature lightning-fast guitar work, gritty vocals, and a mesmerizing showmanship that leaves crowds completely exhausted.

David Davies is an English guitarist, singer and songwriter. He was the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the English rock band the Kinks, led by his elder brother (and principal writer and singer) Ray, and the two of them were the only consistent members during the band's existence. Davies also sometimes undertook writing and/or lead vocals duties within the band, for example on the songs "Death of a Clown", "Party Line", "Strangers" and "Rats". He has also embarked on a solo career, releasing several singles during the late 1960s and has since released eight solo albums.

Davies is known for innovative electric guitar technique, specifically in being one of the first to use electric guitar distortion and exposing the effect to the mainstream. His signature distorted power chord riffs on songs would heavily influence future heavy metal and punk rock acts. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 as a member of the Kinks and, in 2003, was ranked 91st in Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time

Nina Martinez is a dynamic multi-hyphenate artist who has carved out a vibrant career as an award-winning singer, songwriter, and versatile actress. Raised as a descendant of four generations of artists, she discovered her passion early, transitioning seamlessly from Off-Broadway stages to appearances in prominent television shows and films. Her powerful, genre-spanning vocal prowess earned her the distinction of being a three-time winner at Showtime at the Apollo and led to an elite music licensing deal with MTV/Viacom. Beyond her mesmerizing performances, Martinez expands her creative footprint as a trained screenwriter, director, and high-profile red carpet host.

The Spirit of ’76 Expo — nicknamed THAT ’70s EXPO is proud to welcome legendary rock photographer Mark Weiss as a featured guest on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at The Williams Center (Rivoli) in Rutherford, New Jersey!

Mark’s incredible story began as a teenager, sneaking cameras into KISS concerts and selling his photographs to fans. He went on to become one of the most iconic photographers in rock history, capturing legendary images of some of the biggest names in music for more than four decades.

His photography credits include KISS, Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Poison, Metallica, Twisted Sister, and many more.
